Today, the gift iron box manufacturer will explain the relevant knowledge of the surface treatment process of tinplate boxes for you. We all know that after the four-color and spot-color printing of the Makou gift iron box has to go through the last process, which is to coat the printed iron material. This is what we often call the surface treatment process of the tinplate box. There are currently six common surface treatment methods for tinplate packaging on the market: varnish, matte oil, over-light printing matte, explosive oil, rubber oil, and pearl oil. Let us explain the characteristics of each oiling process in detail below.
1. Over-varnished oil, this is the surface treatment method of tinplate boxes that we often use. 95% of tinplate boxes on the market adopt this treatment method. At present, this varnished oil treatment is a process that every tinplate box must go through.
2. The surface treatment effect of over-matte oil and matte oil is exactly the opposite. The surface of the tinplate box treated with varnish is more shiny and bright, while matte oil is a darker metal texture.
3. Over-lighting and matte seals, as the name suggests, means first varnish and then matte oil. The advantage of this tinplate surface treatment method is that the part you need to highlight is made in the part of the tinplate pattern, part of which is varnished or matte. The two have a strong contrasting visual sense and can highlight the theme elements of the surface of the tinplate box.
4. Overexplosive oil, explosive oil refers to the process of extremely rapid release of physical energy after the surface of the iron box is coated through a high-temperature oven. In this process, the membrane layer will release all the energy contained in the interior at an extremely fast speed. It is necessary to have a surface effect similar to the cracked form, so that the surface of the tinplate box can achieve another visual effect and a special tactile effect.
5. After rubber oil, the formation process of rubber oil is similar to explosive oil, but the effect is a rubber texture surface treatment, which is completely impossible to feel the metal texture. If you don’t observe carefully, it is not easy to find that it is a tinplate box. You might think it is a plastic box effect.
6. The effect of passing pearl oil is to produce a sandy grainy effect on the surface of the tinplate box, with a strong three-dimensional effect.
The three oil films, explosive oil, rubber oil, and pearl oil, are relatively special oil film materials and are less used in daily production. They mainly depend on the effects required by customers. The production cost of these three oil films will be relatively high, so if you want a special surface effect treatment, the price will be different. Generally speaking, the main surface treatments of tinplate boxes are varnish, matte oil, and over-light printing.
